Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

I Like Cocktails keeps your recipes, your bar, your lists and your logs on your device. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

A few features need to send something to services we run. This page says what, why, and how long we keep it.

Lens (scanning bottles)

When you scan a bottle, the app sends a photo of that bottle to our recognition service, which uses OpenAI to read the label.

Importing recipes from videos

When you share a YouTube, Instagram or TikTok link to the app, our import service fetches that post's public transcript and text (through Supadata) and uses OpenAI to extract the recipe.

Finding bars

If you allow it, the app uses your location on your device to search Apple Maps for nearby bars. We never receive your location.

How long we keep data

We keep Lens readings, imported links and recipes until we delete them or you ask us to. Photos aren't kept by us at all.

Because none of this is linked to your identity, we may not be able to tell which readings came from you. If you ask us to delete your data, we'll delete anything we can connect to you. Reinstalling the app gives it a new App Attest ID, so later readings aren't connected to earlier ones.

Service providers

Our services run on Cloudflare and Supabase, which may log IP addresses for a short time to operate and protect them. We use OpenAI to read labels and recipes, and Supadata to fetch video transcripts. They process data only to provide these features.

Your choices

You can use I Like Cocktails without Lens or video import; then nothing is sent to us. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.

Children

I Like Cocktails is about alcohol and is meant for adults of legal drinking age.
